Style Me Pretty Features a “Bella” Wedding

It was nuptial bliss for Monica & Connor on their special day, complete with an enchanting springtime palette that featured every shade of pink. Their gorgeous wedding, highlighted on Style Me Pretty, flawlessly demonstrated how to incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year into an event’s theme and design.

Monica & Connor exchanged vows at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion, a new local venue in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania that exceeded their expectations. Built in 1891, the Victorian mansion’s classic architecture provided a picturesque setting for their Gatsby-inspired wedding.

Petals with Style brought the couple’s vision to life with ethereal floral arrangements, including magenta-hued orchids, a favorite of the bride’s mother. Monica looked radiant in a gorgeous Kitty Chen Couture gown, while her lovely bridesmaids stunned in elegant Vera Wang dresses that matched the wedding’s magenta and fuchsia color scheme. The happy couple changed into sparkling attire for the reception, which ended with a lively band and guests waving sparklers in farewell to the newlyweds.

Flowers, of course, played a significant role in the couple’s wedding day, reflecting the bride and her mother’s shared affinity for vibrant hues. To create a bold and fun atmosphere, Monica & Connor opted for a fairytale-esque color palette of magenta and fuchsia, requesting floral arrangements that were both lavish and inviting.

The tablescape and reception space at the Ashcombe Mansion were designed to look plentiful, luscious and grand, yet intimate, evoking a sense of warmth and familiarity.

The silk flower wall that they chose as a backdrop for photos was “Bella,” by Nicol Floral Design, a delicate contrast to the fuschia and magenta. Bella’s soft pink components paired beautifully with the abundance of pale pink blooms in the whimsical bridal bouquets, the floral centerpieces, and the detailed arrangements that adorned the wedding.

All About “Naomi” & “Bella

Pink has forever been a color associated with the season of spring, no doubt because of the many gorgeous pink flowers that bloom worldwide in the springtime. Roses, cherry blossoms, perennials, and peonies are some of the most famous spring blossoms, to name just a few.

The color pink is playful and nostalgic and has the power to transport people back to their childhoods. However, pink can also be viewed as a color of opposites. On the other end of the versatile pink spectrum, are bright and hot pinks such as the energetic “Viva Magenta,” often associated with romance and passion.

Bring an empowering splash of pink to your event no matter the time of year, with our nouveau “Naomi” & beloved “Bella!” Both of these beautiful Nicol Floral Design flower walls make lovely additions to springtime weddings, or any event taking place in any season with a theme that aims to inspire a spring-like atmosphere.
